1. Accepting these terms
By using fittravel.fit — including browsing, searching, chatting, or submitting a gym listing — you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. What FitTravel does & doesn't do
FitTravel is a discovery platform. We help you find gyms, food spots, and trails using public data from OpenStreetMap plus listings submitted by gym owners.
We do not:
- Operate, own, or manage any gym or restaurant.
- Sell day passes, book classes, or handle payments on their behalf.
- Guarantee that pricing, hours, or day-pass availability shown is current — always confirm directly with the venue.
- Provide medical, fitness, or nutritional advice.
3. Accounts & listings
Regular visitors don't need an account. Gym owners who submit or claim a listing provide their name, email, business info, and phone. You're responsible for the accuracy of anything you submit.
4. Gym-owner responsibilities
If you list or claim a gym on FitTravel, you confirm that:
- You're authorized to represent that business (owner, manager, or agency acting on their behalf).
- The information you submit is accurate and kept current.
- You own or have rights to any photos and content you upload.
- You'll respond to visitor inquiries in good faith and honor any pricing, day-pass, or trial offers you advertise on your listing.
Claiming someone else's gym without authorization is grounds for permanent removal and, if we believe fraud is involved, referral to authorities.
5. Paid plans, billing, refunds
Listing on FitTravel is free forever on the Free plan. Optional paid plans:
- Featured (Pro) — $29 USD / month.
- Top Pick — $79 USD / month (max one per city).
Paid plans are billed monthly, cancel anytime. If you cancel mid-month you keep the plan through the end of the billing period; no partial refunds. Within the first 30 days of a paid plan you can request a full refund by emailing hello@fittravel.fit.
FitTravel takes 0% commission on day passes, drop-ins, memberships, or bookings — that revenue stays 100% with the gym.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of anything you upload (photos, descriptions, replies). By uploading, you grant FitTravel a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, resize, cache, and distribute that content as needed to run the service and promote your listing. You can revoke this by removing your listing.
7. Prohibited uses
Don't use FitTravel to:
- Scrape, spider, or bulk-download data at scale (light personal use is fine).
- Impersonate a business, list a fake gym, or post misleading pricing.
- Send spam or unsolicited marketing via any FitTravel contact channel.
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to disrupt the site or its serverless functions.
- Break any applicable law.
We can remove listings and block IPs/emails that violate these rules, at our discretion.
8. Third-party services & data
FitTravel surfaces data from OpenStreetMap (© OSM contributors, ODbL license). Third-party services powering the site (Netlify, OpenAI, Resend) are governed by their own terms.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
FitTravel is provided "as is". We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listing information is accurate at any specific moment. Always call the gym before you show up.
Nothing on this site is medical, health, or professional fitness advice. Consult a qualified professional for those.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FitTravel isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which is $0 for free users).
11. Termination
You can stop using FitTravel at any time and email us to delete your data. We can suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of FitTravel. Disputes will first be attempted to be resolved informally by emailing hello@fittravel.fit.
